Pay: $42 to $58.00 per hour

Monrovia Memorial Hospital is currently hiring ICU Registered Nurses ( RN )for night shift (12-hour)
Full Time -RN, Night Shift
Per Diem – RN, Night Shift
Per Diem – RN, Day Shift
Responsibilities Include:
- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning and delivery of patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing supervision of nursing care provided to patients by other nursing caregivers. Developing the plan for nursing care in coordination with the patient, family, and other staff disciplines when necessary.
- The Registered Nurse will be responsible for communicating changes in the patient’s clinical condition with physician, nursing supervisor and co-workers as appropriate. Participating in the discharge planning process.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse ( RN ) in the State of California
- Current BLS and ACLS certification with updates
- Minimum of Six (6) months’ experience working in a Critical Care Unit with Critical Care Certificate OR two (2) years’ experience working in a Critical Care Unit.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Physiological Knowledge, Administering Medication, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Verbal Communication, Health Promotion and Maintenance.
- Minimum of Six (6) months’ experience working in a Critical Care Unit with Critical Care Certificate OR two (2) years’ experience working in a Critical Care Unit.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology and the uses, dosages, side-effects, and methods of administration for commonly used critical care medications.
