We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial, hospital, commercial cleaning, and floor care.

Duties:

– Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas and Maintains the hospital and office buildings in a safe, clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive manner, free from offensive manner.
– Performs daily cleaning of occupied patient areas, nursing stations, work areas, halls, lounges, storage areas, laboratory, bathrooms, offices, and any other areas assigned, in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department, and in accordance with the facility’s objectives.
– Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with the Nursing Staff, support departments and the Executive Management Team.
– Ability to perform assigned job specific duties effectively.
– Respond to emergency cleaning requests as needed

Requirements:
– One year environmental services experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
– Six (6) months in a hospital environment services capacity (preferred)
– High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
– At least 2 years of experience in custodial, hospital, commercial cleaning, and floor care
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
– Excellent communication skills

Salary: $16.00 – $17.60

Ability to commute/relocate:
– Monrovia, CA 91016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
