The Clinical Dietician plans and delivers nutritional care to patients according to the physician’s diagnosis. He/she is an active member of the multidisciplinary team which routinely evaluates the needs of the patients. He/she screens newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk. SUMMARY: Performs radiological procedures and testing based on approved departmental standards. Monrovia Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full Time Food and Nutrition/Dietary Supervisor Responsibilities Include: - Plans and delivers nutritional care to patients according to the physician’s diagnosis. He/she is an active member of the multidisciplinary team which routinely evaluates the needs of the patients. He/she screens newly admitted patients to identify those at nutritional risk. Works with the patient and family to identify dietary needs and requirements, setting up a plan for them to review and follow and also consults and provides education for newly diagnosis patients with dietary restrictions/special requirements. - Directs the provision of quality food services to patients, doctors, employees, and guests. The Supervisor of Food Services establishes policies and procedures, provides administrative direction of menu formulation, food preparation and service, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices, department education programs and personnel utilization. - Excellent management skills. - Excellent customer service skills - Excellent Team-player. Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the dietetic service of a licensed facility.
  • Hospital experience as a Clinical Dietician Required.
Licensure/Certification/Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with major studies in Dietetics and Food Service Management
  • Certification from Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Responsibilities Include:
  • The Registered Nurse will be responsible for planning and delivery of patient care to critically ill patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing supervision of nursing care provided to patients by other nursing caregivers. Developing the plan for nursing care in coordination with the patient, family, and other staff disciplines when necessary.
  • The Registered Nurse will be responsible for communicating changes in the patient’s clinical condition with physician, nursing supervisor and co-workers as appropriate. Participating in the discharge planning process.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse ( RN ) in the State of California
